Announcing the Launch of the U11 Thunder Renegades Softball Skills Academy
South Surrey, BC - September 20, 2024 - The South Surrey White Rock Minor Softball Association (SSWRMSA) and the White Rock Renegades Girls Fastpitch Club (Renegades) are excited to announce the launch of the U11 Thunder Renegades Softball Skills Academy. This academy is designed for U11 players born in 2014 and 2015 and will run from October to March, providing a comprehensive training program for young athletes.
The Thunder Renegades Softball Skills Academy will consist of 16 sessions held on Sundays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the BMO Coastal Indoor Soccer Centre, located at South Surrey Athletic Park next to Softball City. This convenient and top-notch facility will serve as the perfect venue for skill development and growth.
Accomplished coaches, instructors, and players from both the Renegades and SSWRMSA's Thunder teams will lead the academy. Their expertise and passion for the sport will ensure that participants receive high-quality instruction in a supportive, fun, and encouraging environment. The academy will focus on all essential softball skills, including batting, throwing, fielding, catcher training, and pitching.
The cost of enrollment in the Thunder Renegades Skills Academy is just $15 for individual sessions, or a discounted $200 for all 16 sessions. A commitment of a minimum of 4 booked sessions is required. All academy participants will receive an academy t-shirt and pants.

The White Rock Renegades Girls Fastpitch Program (Established 1986) is focused on developing high level female athletes in softball. The Renegades aspire to promote girls through sport using our 5 ships: Sportsmanship, Leadership, Scholarship, Citizenship and Championship. Our athletes graduate with fantastic softball skills, as well as skills beyond the field of play - including teamwork, dedication, perseverance and discipline.
