South Surrey White Rock Minor Softball Association is proud to announce the appointment of Kyle Stevens as Head Coach of the U11 Rep Thunder 2015 team for the upcoming season.
Kyle is an NCCP Level 2 trained coach who has been an integral part of the SSWRMSA community since 2019. Over the years, he has coached across multiple age groups and competition levels, consistently guiding teams to district and regional success. His coaching résumé includes time as a lead instructor with the U11 Thunder Renegades Softball Skills Academy and Head Coach of the U11 Thunder Select 2015 team.
With more than 40 years of involvement in the game—spanning youth baseball to nearly 30 years of competitive slo-pitch—Kyle brings a deep well of knowledge and passion to the diamond. His coaching style focuses on building strong fundamentals while nurturing a lifelong love for softball in a positive and supportive environment.
Kyle is known for his emphasis on developing softball IQ, helping athletes understand not just how to play, but why certain decisions matter. He aims to shape smart, adaptable players who show confidence, make sound choices under pressure, and always value effort, growth, and teamwork.
Driven by the impact great coaches had on his own development, Kyle now brings that same dedication and mentorship to his athletes. He takes pride in connecting with players in meaningful ways and supporting their growth both on and off the field.
We are excited to have Kyle leading our U11 Rep Thunder 2015 team and look forward to a season of growth, development, and Thunder pride.
