Coach Announcement - U11 Thunder Select 2015
South Surrey White Rock Minor Softball is thrilled to announce Danica Lapierre as the Head Coach of the U11 Thunder Select 2015 team for the upcoming season!
Danica brings over five years of coaching experience within SSWRMSA, having led Learn to Play, U9, and U11 teams, and previously served as Assistant Coach for Thunder Select 2015. She’s also a dedicated instructor at the U11 Thunder Renegades Softball Skills Academy, where her passion for youth development continues to shine.
With 20+ years of playing experience and a professional background as a high school teacher, Danica offers a powerful blend of technical expertise, mentorship, and leadership. Her player-first coaching philosophy focuses on creating an environment where athletes feel safe, build skills, and develop a lifelong love of the game through fun and team-building.
Danica’s commitment to fostering a supportive and empowering space for young athletes is unwavering. She believes deeply in the importance of female coaches on the field—not only to promote safety, but to serve as strong, positive role models for girls in sport.
