Winter Pitching and Catcher Clinics (Weekly and Drop In)

South Surrey White Rock Minor Softball is hosting Winter Player Development Clinics for pitching and catcher training. Pitching clinics with Ron Clarke will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Pitching clinics with Lindsay Bell will be held on Thursdays and Fridays. Catcher training clinics with Rachel Brissette will be held on Wednesdays.

Winter Pitching Clinics with Ron Clarke

Tuesday Pitching Clinics 

Location: Pacific Heights Elementary School Gym

Dates:

January 7, 14. 21, 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 4, 11

Cost (10 sessions):

U11-U13 - $195

U15-U19 - $220

Wednesday Pitching Clinics 

Location: Ocean Cliff Elementary School Gym

Dates: January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12

Cost (10 sessions):

U9 - U11 LEARN TO PITCH - for player that have not participated in pitching clinics - $100

U11-U13 - $195

U15-U19 - $220

Instructor: Ron Clarke is an accomplished pitching and batting instructor. Many of his students have gone on to play for NCAA D1 teams and the Canadian National team. Ron has many championships to his credit; he was the Head Coach of the Senior Women’s Canadian National Team at the Sydney Olympics in 2000; Head Coach of the Women’s team at the Pan-American Games in Winnipeg in 1999; and Head Coach at the World Championship in Japan in 1997.

Thursday Pitching Clinics

Location: Pacific Heights Elementary School Gym

Dates: January 9, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13, 20, 27, March 6

Instructor - Lindsay Bell
Note: If Lindsay is not available due to UBC Thunderbird travel,  Ron Clarke will substitute

Friday Pitching Clinics (Drop In)

Register for one or multiple sessions

Location - Pacific Heights Elementary School Gym

Time - 8:00 pm to 9:00 PM (1 hour sessions)

Dates (Fridays):

January 10, 24, February 7, 21, March 7

Cost: $16 per session 

Instructor: Lindsay Bell is a Softball Canada CanPitch instructor, a National Coaching Certification Program trained coach, and 2020-2024 UBC Thunderbird softball team pitcher. Lindsay played minor ball with SSWRMSA, Fraser Valley Fusion, and White Rock Renegades.

Winter Catcher Training Clinics with Rachel Brissette

Wednesday Catcher Training Clinics 

Location: Ray Shepherd Elementary School Gym

PART 1 - 5 Sessions

PART 2 - 5 Sessions

Dates: February 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12

Instructor - Rachel Brissette

Instructor: Rachel Brissette played minor ball with Delta Heat and Fraser Valley Fusion before going on to play for Edmonds College in Washington State. Rachel continues to play Senior Womens A softball for Delta Heat.
